The winner of this one-of-a-kind opportunity will work directly with MB alumnus Nick Gilson (Class of 2007), founder and CEO of Gilson Snow, to design and manufacture a custom-made pair of Gilson skis or snowboard shaped from locally grown and sustainably-harvested Pennsylvania poplar trees. This item includes working personally with Nick and a Gilson artist to craft your own snowboard or skis artwork, designing individualized top sheet and base graphics, and then participating in the onsite production* of your skis/board at The Gilson Snowboard & Ski Farm, located in Winfield, PA in the Appalachian foothills. Expiration: there is no expiration date. Nick and the winner will work together to find a time that works both for the team at Gilson and the winner. *Special note: Nick shares that the factory experience takes several hours which can happen in one day or over two. Lodging is not included with this item, though there are several local lodging options including hotels, bed & breakfasts, and campgrounds. Nick and his team can be helpful in finding the right accommodations if the winner should wish to stay in the area overnight.
